Treating the Whole Person
The best addiction treatment programs are individualized upon past experiences and personal goals. At Transcendence Treatment Center, our programs address your unique concerns and work with you to develop a program that fits with your schedule and your goals.
Substance abuse and addiction frequently develop as a coping mechanism for unresolved trauma. Everyone experiences trauma differently, which is why high-quality substance use treatment will be centered around individualized, trauma-informed healing.
Peer Recovery Coaching
Recovery requires support. Finding support among peers and other people who have faced similar challenges can build a community to lean upon during times of struggle. Peer support can empathize with your struggles and help you overcome challenges during recovery. Each client will benefit from the guidance of someone who is a little further down the path of recovery.
Similar to many other chronic diseases, medication may be prescribed to help address symptoms of a substance use disorder. Medication-assisted treatment, or MAT, can ease withdrawal and has been shown to reduce relapse rates while increasing job retention and overall length and quality of life.
Family involvement in recovery is vital to long-term success. Including your loved ones in the treatment process helps to address not only substance use issues, but also underlying issues with communication or other dysfunctions that may be interfering with your relationship. Going home each night makes it easier to incorporate healthy routines within your life and family once treatment has ended.
Successful drug rehab is a lifestyle change. Once you have completed your treatment program, it can be a little uncomfortable to navigate early recovery independently. Transcendence Treatment Center provides self-help resources so that our clients and alumni feel empowered to focus on their recovery once treatment is completed.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is used along with the individualized treatment plan as a means to help the individual identify self-defeating thoughts and behaviors which may often drive addiction. It helps the individual to explore patterns harmful thought patterns and actively seek alternate thinking.
Finding daily peace is a part of a healthy lifestyle. Just like any routine, practicing meditation must be built up over time and takes discipline. Meditation has been shown to increase dopamine levels in the brain and contribute to a better quality of life. At Transcendence, we can teach you how to build this healthy habit into your life for lasting health.
Addiction doesn’t happen in one step and neither does recovery. 12-step programs are customizable and have worked for millions of people. We are happy to provide resources for long-term support.
Mindfulness Based Recovery Management
Mindfulness-based recovery management helps those in recovery from addiction use mindful awareness to manage automatic and unhelpful reactions to triggers. Recent research has demonstrated an increase in the individual's ability to remain in recovery through the use of these mindfulness techniques in daily life.
Flexible and Effective Levels of Care
Outpatient Programs: OP
Outpatient drug rehab programs provide specific tools for recovery and ongoing support. This program is normally best-suited for people who have recently completed a more intensive level of care as it offers more specific supports and the most freedom.
Intensive Outpatient Program: IOP
Intensive outpatient programs balance your independence with the additional support of an outpatient addiction program. IOP participants attend groups regularly but still have the flexibility to attend to other personal responsibilities like school or work.
Partial Hospitalization Program: PHP
A partial hospitalization program (PHP) does not require hospitalization, but rather provides the most support of any outpatient program. You still go home at night, like any other outpatient program, but most of your day takes place at Transcendence Treatment Center and includes recovery activities.
